Hi, I am Jonas Giedra - the founder of Giedra Sevice company. For over 15 years I have been working in construction sector and during this period I worked on various projects of different scale and nature. Thanks to extensive work experience, I have gained skills which allow me to start new projects with ease and efficiency, finding best solutions for any problem.
Currently, Giedra Service specializes in the following areas: frame houses construction, buildings repair and reconstruction (both interior and exterior), roofing and other all round works.

Throughout 2021-2022, Giedra has helped us with restoration work which includes, among other things, exterior change, re-insulation and restoration of ornaments and replacement of mouldings, etc. Our house is registered as a cultural monument, and it has been one demanding project where it has been important to preserve originality and design. Giedra is a very skilled craftsman, and we have felt very safe throughout the entire period. The collaboration has worked very well. It is easy to communicate with Jonas and we were always updated about decisions well before they were made. Then we could also give our opinions. He is solution-oriented and knowledgeable. He keeps good order in the workplace. Jonas is very hardworking and punctual. He provided regular time registration and we found no deviations when it was checked. In October 2022 I contacted a company to build a new staircase for my summer house in Arendal district in Norway. Through my door came Jonas Giedra, a man I had not seen before.
In mid December 2022, Jonas Giedra had built a new staircase for me with new fundaments, and had taken good care of the slates before laying them back in place.
In addition, he had made new fundament for a new and better terrace on the other side of the building, built new and stronger walls to support the much wanted “glas roof” over half the terrace and set everything back to what it was before. The photos before and after will show what he has done.
I am very happy with the work he has done for me as it is done with professional quality. I was unable to be there when most of the work was done, but he informed me all along the progress. Most of all I have appreciated the kindness and respect he has shown me during the working period.
